And so it begins...

Pitchfork fired the proverbial indie rock gun into the air today by reviewing Wolf Parade's "Apologies to the Queen Mary" and bestowing it with both a 9.2 rating and the stamp of "Best New Music" label. I can almost hear the way-too-cool-for-school population going into a manic frenzy, racing to get their hands on this album (meanwhile maintianing a facade of calm and collectiveness- lack of cred will kill you, man). Remember the Arcade Fire? It's an explosion like that. And I can safely say that it's worth every ounce of hype. These guys are golden.
