Rediscovery

I got an older Modest Mouse song stuck in my head tonight and just for shits and giggles, looked it up on iTunes because my only copy is on vinyl. Surprisingly, they had it. It's the 15 minute long song they did with another old favorite Up Records band, 764-Hero called "Whenever You See Fit", on the single of the same name. Now that's the Modest Mouse I know and love. Crappy lower-fi recording and more fucking soul. Wow, this song takes me back to my old studio apartment in Philadelphia that was in a building which has since burnt to the ground.
