Broken Flowers

Last night we went to span some time with Jim Jarmusch's Broken Flowers which opened to a sold out crowd at the Sunset 5 (crowd included Michael Rappaport, hehe). Much like his other films, his use of minimalism and "time pressure" (kinda like the long takes in Tarkovsky films) signature this film starring Bill Murray. I absolutely loved it. Painfully funny but really really sad and lonely at the same time. Music was perfect. Lots of east coast rural driving that made me long for a trip back home. This is definately better than last year's Coffee and Cigarettes. Go see this please!
